About the role
QLS has a full-time, contract opportunity for a Team Coordinator to join our team. The Practice, Ethics and Guidance team enhances the Society’s reputation as the trusted advisor, to Queensland solicitors, by advocating for good law and supporting good lawyers for the public good by the promotion and maintenance of professional standards
This main purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Director, QLS Ethics and Practice Centre and the QLS Ethics and Practice Centre team.
Key duties of the role:
- Organise and coordinate the Centre’s performance reports, including preparing, compiling and formatting business unit reports and following up on additional information.
- Logging ethics and practice management calls for the Centre.
- Managing the administration and co-ordination of the Ethics Advisory Committee, QLS Senior Counsellors’ and other working groups’ that sit with the Centre.
- Draft correspondence and presentations on behalf of the Centre’s team.
Ideally you will have the following:
- Previous administration experience in a professional work environment.
- Well-developed planning, organisational and time management skills along with the capacity to prioritise and complete tasks within competing timeframes.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- High level written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
