QLS has a permanent full-time opportunity for a Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Finance team. Our Finance team supports the organisation by providing accurate, efficient and customer-focused services across financial management, compliance and reporting. The purpose of the Accounts Receivable Officer is to provide high-quality accounts receivable support, including invoicing, receipting, debtor management, account reconciliations and customer account services, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and excellent customer outcomes.
In this role you will:
- Process customer payments and ensure receipts are allocated accurately to customer accounts.
- Prepare and issue invoices, working with internal teams to resolve billing enquiries.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up overdue payments in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to enquiries about payments, invoices and account balances.
- Maintain accurate financial records, support compliance requirements, and contribute to improving team processes and procedures.
Ideally you will have the following:
- Experience in accounts receivable, finance administration, or a similar role.
- A good understanding of invoicing, payment processing, account reconciliations and debtor management.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to confidently resolve payment issues and respond to customer enquiries.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and experience using financial or accounting systems.
Qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field will be highly regarded but are not essential.
