QLS has 2 permanent full-time opportunities for Administration Assistants to join the External Interventions team. The External Interventions team is responsible with evaluating and handling situations that require external intervention under the Legal Profession Act 2007, including issues related to compliance, misconduct, or risks to clients' interests. External interveners can be appointed to supervise trust money or wind up and receive regulated property belonging to a law practice.
In this role you will:
- Assist with phone and email enquiries from clients and law firms.
- Catalogue and scanning of files and Safe Custody.
- Prepare and peruse documents required to identify owners of files and safe custody.
- Collate and dispatch files and safe custody.
- Provide general administration support on site at law practices.
- Undertaking the packing and moving of archive boxes.
Ideally you will have the following
- Experience in a similar administration role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing tasks and deadlines.
- Strong attention to details and problem-solving skills.
