Job Description

QLS has a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Consultant to join our Business Applications team within the Operations Division. This is a Brisbane-based role with hybrid working arrangements, including 2-3 days per week in our CBD office to foster collaboration and innovation.  

Our Business Applications team plays a key role in enabling QLS’s operations through the delivery and maintenance of enterprise systems. The team supports digital transformation, collaborates across business units, and ensures our systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with organisational goals. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working collaboratively, and contributing to meaningful outcomes through technology. 

You’ll be part of a small, agile team responsible for maintaining and enhancing QLS’s core member and financial systems, Microsoft Dynamics Customer Experience and Business Central. The role involves designing and developing fit-for-purpose solutions, supporting integrations, and contributing to continuous improvement across platforms. 

In this role you will:

  • Design, develop, test and maintain Dynamics 365 (CRM), Power Pages, and Power Platform applications 
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions 
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps and oversee integrations using Azure Data Factory 
  • Collaborate with IT Operations to support Power Pages infrastructure 
  • Work closely with business analysts and testers to meet delivery timeframes and resolve defects 
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation 
  • Stay current with platform updates and contribute to ongoing improvements 
  • Share knowledge and support team outcomes through collaboration and innovation 

Ideally you will have the following:

  • Around 5 years’ experience in a D365 Technical Consultant or similar role 
  • Experience working with business analysts and translating requirements into technical designs 
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Dynamics 365 modules (Sales and Marketing) 
  • Familiarity with Power Platform technologies including Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps Portals 
  • Strong development skills in C#, HTML, JavaScript, Liquid, CSS, and Web APIs 
  • A collaborative approach, with strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement 
  • Relevant qualifications in IT or computer science are highly regarded 
  • Certifications such as PL-400 or AZ-400 are desirable
