QLS has a permanent opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join their Business Applications team. The Business Applications team
supports QLS by delivering, maintaining and optimising the enterprise systems that underpin operations, ensuring applications are secure, reliable and aligned to organisational strategy, while enabling seamless workflows and digital transformation.
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will bridge business and technology to design and deliver high‑quality enhancements that keep QLS’s enterprise applications efficient, connected and future‑ready.
In this role you will:
- Lead the analysis of business needs by gathering, interpreting and documenting complex requirements, translating them into clear functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops and guide stakeholders through process mapping, problem‑solving and identifying improvement opportunities, shaping high‑value solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Drive high‑quality system delivery by developing traceability between requirements, use cases and test plans, coordinating user acceptance testing, and ensuring solutions meet organisational goals.
- Collaborate closely with developers, vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate configuration, data mapping and integration of enterprise applications, supporting a smooth implementation process.
- Champion continuous improvement by influencing positive change, uplifting BA practice within the team, and contributing to capability development through knowledge‑sharing and informal mentoring.
Ideally you will have the following:
- Extensive experience (~ 8+ years) as a Business Analyst, with a strong track record working on cloud‑based CRM platforms such as Dynamics 365 or similar enterprise systems.
- Advanced capability in requirements gathering, process mapping and developing functional specifications, including user stories, acceptance criteria and traceability to test cases.
- Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and confidently recommend improvements.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and build strong relationships across business and technical teams.
- Experience delivering high‑quality documentation and test plans, and coordinating activities such as UAT, vendor engagement, and system configuration support.
